April 2008 Game of the Month
April wasn’t in particular a great month overall, but there was definitely some great titles released. Game of the Month is fairly obvious here, so I’ll stop stalling.
April 2008 GOTM:
Grand Theft Auto IV
Publisher: Rockstar Games
Developer: Rockstar North
The reason I haven’t reviewed Grand Theft Auto IV is simply because it needs the time to be analyzed. There literally is a full sized city crammed onto the disc, as well as a top notch action sandbox game. The best in a series of the best? Unheard of! Not with Grand Theft Auto IV, my obvious pick for April’s best game.
Runner Up
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment
Developer: Polyphony Digital

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is the prettiest game I’ve seen in a long time, and the driving physics are the best I’ve ever seen. There is so much absolutely perfect about this game, EXCEPT for the lack of game modes. The real Gran Turismo 5 is something I’m looking forward to.
May is looking like it’ll be a pretty quiet month overall. Haze is for certain looked forward to, as well as Wii Fit.
