Electronic Arts mends some broken hearts

If you haven’t noticed, almost every EA game on the Ps3 has been inferior to the Xbox 360 version. But EA is in prone position to be forgiven by gamers, as they stated that they believe that the Ps3 will outsell the 360 this year by about 2 million units. This comes, of course, shortly after the release of Burnout Paradise, FramesPerSecond’s game of the month, which is equal on both systems.

FramesPerSecond has a little gift for EA:

  1. I’m making the jump to a new system. I just bought a new 1080 LCD tv. Now I need a system. Most people are telling me to buy the xbox360 elite. Is this a safe bet? or should I buy the PS3?

games I’ll buy with the system:

    Call of Duty 4
    Burnout Paradise
    Lost Planet

  2. Well, it really depends what you’re looking for. The Xbox 360 Elite is really good, and the 360 has some very decent titles already. Games like Halo 3, Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Gears of War have already proven that. However, some people aren’t willing to pay for Xbox Live. The Ps3 has some good titles, that can kill the wait for Metal Gear Solid 4, Haze, Killzone 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, and God of War III. Games like Heavenly Sword and Uncharted are good games, that are worth playing. It all depends on whether you want great games now, or even better games later. Either decision is a good one.

As for those 3 games that you’ve listed, it really doesn’t matter which version it is, as COD 4 and Burnout Paradise are even across the board. Lost Planet is released in a few days for the Ps3, but it looks really similar to its counterpart.
